When I first get the final project, I have to say, I have no idea how to deal with it. I want a great ending and an amazing artwork. So, maybe I should think a lot of ideas and try to select the greatest one.

At first, I really got an amazing idea, I want to try to show everyone an object with one single color and ask them what they think. For example, an orange is good. I will write down every word they think of about this object. Finally, I will have a conclusive for the color like “Green seems to represent natural and health”, and “Blue makes people feel calm” and so on. However, there are some troubles if I choose this. Because maybe I have to make some objects and color them and take them to class to show and use PowerPoint to show the conclusive. Well. It is maybe not as good as I think. I still cannot produce an amazing product and this more like something in psychology class.

Then, I try to find some other options. Taking the pictures of the different color buildings in OSU is also a great idea. I can find out if there is a relationship between the building and the color. However, I give up because I find almost all buildings in OSU are almost white and red. There is no green building or blue building (At least I haven’t found yet). I give up this idea and pick up the similar idea about buildings in OSU. I can have a trip around the whole campus and photo them. I can make these photos a video to show everyone the beautiful scene and buildings in OSU.

I have to say this is really a long trip to walk around the whole campus. This is an almost five hour’s trip and I took over 300 photos. The routine of the whole trip is my first picture of my final video. Then I start to think what I should do to these photos. I cannot put all these pictures to my video. Because I do not want my video is too long and too boring. I deleted the repeat and not-good-looking photos and try to make the rest is the best. Finally, I select 160 photos to make my final video.

I decide to divide my whole video to three parts. In the first part, I will show the most beautiful photos and scenes I took. The second part is my whole trip and the third part is the fast view our whole campus.

For the first part, I start with the routine of my whole trip. Then, I have to choose the background music. In this part, because these are the most beautiful photos I took, I need to make my photos change slowly in my video. I have to choose a song with slow rhythm. I choose a really beautiful song “Kiss the rain” as the background music. I use IMovie to make my change of photos totally have the same rhythm as the song. I make the difference of music and photo less in 0.1 second. Finally, this part becomes the enjoyment of the campus.

In the second part, I have to make the rhythm a bit faster. I chose “canon” as my background music in this part. This part shows my whole trip. I arrange these pictures by the time I took them. I use the different effects and make my photos pass quickly to match the rhythm. This part is my trip of the whole campus.

The last part is the most amazing part. This is my favorite part. I use the opening song of “The Big Bang Theory” as the background. I also use the same method to show my photos in this way! First slow then really really fast. You can see the picture but you cannot remember it. Because there is too much information in this little twenty seconds. Over 100 photos and pictures in this 20-second. I do make some trick in these pictures and if you look carefully, you will find three trick pictures. These three pictures are not just totally meaningless actually. Here are explanations:

1: Cartman in South Park: the same pronounce as our website “Carmen”.
2: E. Gordon Gee: the president of our university.
3: Sheldon---The Big Bang Theory.

Finally, I think I really make the best artwork I have ever made.
